This project was an assignment for a Typography class that I took with Ernesto Aparicio at the RISD Summer Institute for Graphic Design in the summer of 2016.
The assignment was intended to get us out into the city and to give us some experience in identifying type. We took photos of letterforms used in signs around campus, and created an interesting composition from the photos. We also attempted to (loosely) identify similar typefaces for comparison.
